RIM announced in November that it would soon rename its BlackBerry AppWorld to BlackBerry World to reflect a change in the type of content made available in its storefront. BlackBerry users will be able to purchase music and videos in addition to apps and games, so the rebranding shows that the store is about more than just apps. RIM says that the change is happening now, first in the online storefront, though it will soon begin appearing on BlackBerry PlayBook tablets and BlackBerry smartphones in "the coming weeks."
